THE JOURNAL

L’ACQUA is the official journal of the Italian Hydrotechnical Association, founded in 1923. It is enterely dedicated to promote the development and the dissemination of the water culture, in its various aspects of water resources management, land protection and environmental enhancement. L’Acqua is a peer reviewed journal, which collects scientific and technical papers, written in Italian or English language, relevant to the water sector, including hydropower plants, water supply systems, urban drainage, soil conservation, irrigation, land reclamation, hydraulic defence, coastal and harbour engineering, water treatment and water infrastructures in general. Besides the engineering aspects, the journal addresses also environmental, social, economic, legal and historical issues in the water sector. ISSN 1125-1255
