SGI STUDO GALLI INGEGNERIA S.p.A. is looking for a Bid Manager who shall be responsible for submitting a completed bid to an existing or prospective client, on time and within budget. He/She shall ensure that requirements indicated in the Terms of reference and all the client's questions have been answered as fully as possible, and that the organisation has given itself the best possible chance of success.
The Bid Manager shall report to the Chief Business Development Officer and his/her role will involve leading all day-to-day aspects of bid preparation. He/she shall have an excellent appreciation of client’s needs and how best to articulate how the organisation can provide that. He/She shall work closely with staff from other company departments (Engineering, Legal, Administration, etc.) to gather required expertise when required for the successful submission of the bid.

His/her main responsibilities include:
· Bid Planning
· Produce and maintain a bid brief
· Identify resource requirements
· Maintain bid file
· Drive approval process
· Edit contributions to bid
· Manage bid production
· Manage and coordinate inputs from internal/external contributors
· Collect and maintain risk registers
· Manage risk process in accordance with company standards
· Monitor and report bid production costs
· Produce post bid review and hand over documentation

Main skills required are:
· Project management
· Scheduling
· Planning and reporting
· Risk management
· Negotiation
· Proposal writing
· Presentations 

Experience in bid management for International Financing Institutions (e.g. WB, AfDB, ADB, BID, EBRD, EIB) and Donor Organizations (e.g. EU, UN Agencies, etc.) is mandatory. Previous experience in the engineering services industry is appreciated.
Excellent command of spoken and written English is essential. Good command of French language is highly desirable.
The candidate shall also have adequate knowledge of Italian language.
Good knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access) and of Project Management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, etc.) is fundamental.
The ideal candidate shall have excellent communication and teamwork skills. He/She shall be open minded and keen to work in a multi-cultural environment.
