Under the direction of the SWS's Project Managers, the successful candidate will lead groundwater modeling tasks in Canada and other countries, including:

- Design of technical work plans to complete groundwater modeling projects
- Design and construct numerical models for site specific needs
- Interact with clients and professional peers
- Prepare technical documentation for consulting projects
- Prepare technical presentations
Qualifications:
We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic individual that is able to contribute to multiple and complex projects simultaneously. You are a goal-oriented person, willing to travel and able to operate well within a team-based, innovative technology and services environment. Your writing and presentation skills are outstanding and you are used to working under strict deadlines and budgets.
- 5 + years experience in groundwater consulting projects involving numerical models
- Strong mathematical and hydrogeology background, including experience with Finite
- Elements and Finite Differences models
- Working experience with MODFLOW and/or FEFLOW
- Working experience with data management and GIS.
- Strong modeling background with application to groundwater issues
- M.Sc. or M.A.Sc. Degree from a reputable University
- Programming ability with FORTRAN, Visual Basic or C/C++
- Working knowledge of GIS applications and relational database environments
- Ontario P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation or eligibility
