Senior Hydrogeologist
As part of our hydrogeological force, you will work within a project team, providing technical input to a wide variety of hydrogeological and hydrological projects, including water resources investigations, mining hydrology, hydroecology and environmental impact assessment. Fieldwork is likely to be required, both nationally and internationally. This role requires at least 7 years experience, solid communication skills (written & verbal) in English, an aptitude for learning the technical details of our equipment, and attention to detail. The position offers career advancement possibilities, as well as long-term employment stability.
Responsibilities include:

- Project management experience
- Desk-based investigation and analysis of hydrogeological and hydrological systems.
- Supervision of field and site work.
- Preparation of material for and responsibility for quality of technical reports.
- Training and mentoring junior staff
- Preparation of proposals and presentations as necessary.
- Liaison with clients, and responsibility for significant project budgets.
- Continuing professional development, by attendance at relevant conferences and training courses.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have most or all of the following qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of water related issues of mining
- Competence in dewatering and environmental aspects
- Ability to work in a team environment, working with deadlines and budgets
- Fluent English with capability in Spanish
- Good communication skills, including report and presentation
