Senior Groundwater Modeler
As part of our hydrogeological force, you will work within a project team, providing technical input to a wide variety of hydrogeological and hydrological projects, including water resources investigations, mining hydrology, hydroecology and environmental impact assessment. This role requires at least 7 years experience, solid communication skills (written & verbal) in English, an aptitude for learning the technical details of our equipment, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include:
- Comply with day-to-day planning as coordinated by the relevant Project Manager
- Undertake investigations and analyses of hydrogeological systems in order to provide practical and pragmatic solutions for our clients.
- Work closely with an integrated project team, whether field based or located in other offices, as the case may be.
- Carry out a variety of tasks and data processing related to modeling activities.
- Develop expertise and experience, as appropriate, in the application of numerical models (MODFLOW, FEFLOW, SEEP/W) and other numerical and analytical tools.
- Make site visits, prepare and write technical reports, and assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations, as necessary.
- Field data acquisition.
- Data possessing, management, and interpretation.
- Numerical modeling of groundwater, unsaturated soils, and surface water.

- Broad knowledge of water related issues of mining
- Competence in modeling
