Business development Manager- Schlumberger Water Services
You will be a key player in the Schlumberger Water Services (SWS) management team. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for SWS in middle-east-especially in the GCC countries.
Responsibilities:
- Have a clear understanding of SWS products, services and delivering capabilities;
- Understand the water industry in middle-east, its stakeholders, actors and business drivers;
- Develop and maintain business plan for MEA with identification and rationalization of key target sectors;
- Understand relative roles of domestic and international companies; consulting and engineering firms;
- Build relationship at appropriate level with all the main actors in the water sector
- Prepare and write proposals and tenders with the agreement, support and involvement of technique and operations;
- Follow-up with the client, until award and signature of contract;
- Ensure a high visibility of SWS through a suitable presence in appropriate trade shows and exhibitions in the middle-east, deliver communications regularly;
- Identify potential new products and services and contribute suggestions to R&D.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in relevant environmental or engineering sciences.
- A minimum of fifteen years’ experience in the water industry, preferably with large technology, construction or consulting firms. Prior experience may include management of large construction projects in the water sector;
- Fluency in English;
- Fluency in Arabic is a major plus;
- Adaptability,
- Ability to work in team
- Extensive traveling within the region

- Functional: Marketing & Technique Manager, Water services
- Direct: Middle East Operations manager
